Chris and I met New Years Day of 1999 while in Americorps, and moved in together (despite our parents reservations) after six months. After surviving a long distance move, no money, putting each other through school, and cancer, we decided we might as well go through with it and just get married already.
We settled in Denver, both completed graduate school, started our careers, bought a house in the suburbs, and decided it was time to completely give in to the whole adulthood thing and start a family.
After two years of being unsuccessful we tried fertility shots and BANG, success! Big time success! We were pregnant with triplets. And not just triplets, triplet girls!
Before triplet parenthood (BTP) Chris and I loved traveling, good food, eating out, beer, camping, hiking, and beer. Now we love being parents, moments of silence, bedtime, and still, beer.
Nora translated: "it's hot outside, Mommy!"
